Tuesday was gig day – always a good day. Not really a travel day, as I call Boston my home town when describing Van concerts, but I do have to cross a state border to get there these days. I was down in Boston by lunchtime, picking up Sean at the airport. He’s doing all four shows, so he’s just getting started. Well, we all are, but some of us have longer trips than others. But right now we’re just focused on Boston. Seeing what it is he’s going to bring us this time. These are glorious times in Van’s live music, with the buildup exactly the way you like it: not having a clue what’s in store next. (more…)
